Our loop.

One person, a legion of agents, and a question.

The question.

Can AI run everything?Products. A leadership team. A company.

Not can it write code. That one is settled and it was never the interesting question. The question is whether the rest of a company can be handed over. The judgment. The standard. The decision nobody is around to make at two in the morning.

Each rung is harder than the one under it, and each one gets answered with evidence or it does not get answered at all. This is a question, not a claim. I am not going to tell you I have climbed all three.

So here is where each rung actually stands, with the evidence for it, and what I still do not know.

Products. Answered.

Orbyt is a family of shipped software, built by one person and a legion of agents. Not a demo and not a deck. Every product below runs today, and the early-access list is open.

Those numbers are generated out of the repository every day, not typed by hand. Around the products sits the rest of it: a free salary explorer covering 3,445 roles, free career tools, a developer platform with APIs and MCP servers, an arcade, and books written as it happened.

This rung is answered, and it is also the easy one. A person and a good model can build software now. That is not the interesting part. It is the floor.

A leadership team. Answered in part.

Orbyt has 12 officer seats. A Chief of Staff, a CFO, a General Counsel, an Inspector General, and the rest of a C-suite. None of them are people.

Eight of them named themselves. One run, in isolation, none of them able to see what the others picked. Not one chose a name about being first or being clever. They chose names about leverage and proof. Fulcrum. Ward. Ledger, which three of them reached for at once and two had to give up. A seat founded later chose Assay, the word for what you do to a piece of metal when you want to know what it is truly made of.

They hold written charters. They file decisions to an append-only log. They are allowed to disagree with me on the record, and they do.

What is not answered. A leadership team is judged on calls that aged well, and these have not aged yet. They have run for weeks, not years. The seats that touch revenue are still observing.

Meet the officers

A company. Open.

This is the rung that matters and it is the one I cannot claim. Here is what exists, so you can weigh it yourself.

Officer seats

The jobs run without me. The guards block my own commits when I am wrong. There is a ladder, and a seat is promoted only when written criteria come back green, and the machine has refused to promote when they did not. There is a kill switch, and any seat can be held shut by a single file, and one has been. There is a rule that freezes every promotion if no signed commit from me lands in fourteen days, because a company that cannot tell whether its one human is still there should assume he is not.

The night it hired its first officer, I did not press a button. There was no button. I had built it so there would not be. I signed a commit, stood up a monitor outside the company, flipped a build setting, and wrote down in my own words what the company is for. Then a script with no intelligence in it read its own criteria, found them green, confirmed a human was provably present, and opened a chair. I sat in the dark and did not feel triumphant. I felt the specific vertigo of a thing you made not needing you for that part.

What is not answered, and I want to be blunt about it. None of that is a business. A company is not proven by running. It is proven by customers, by revenue, and by surviving a year of both. The products are in early access and the signup today is a waitlist. The machine has climbed the rungs it can climb alone and is sitting on one it has not cleared.

Watch it get built

What we do not know yet.

  • Whether any of it holds at scale. Everything you can measure here was measured with almost no customers on it.
  • Whether agents keep a standard when the work is boring. They hold it on the interesting days. The test is the thousandth unglamorous one.
  • Whether taking myself out of the middle makes the work better or only faster. Those are not the same result and I cannot yet tell them apart.
  • Whether a company that can tell its founder no will actually be listened to. By me. That one is not a question about AI.
  • Whether anyone but me and these agents could maintain it. Software built this fast is only an asset if a second person can pick it up, and no second person has tried.

If any of that changes, this page changes. That is the deal.

Justin Bartak

Justin Bartak

Founder and CEO. The only human in the loop.

I do the deciding. The agents do the research, the drafting, the building, and the watching. Judgment and the weight of a call should sit with someone who can be held to it, and there is exactly one of us here who can be.

I did not build a company to agree with me. I built one that could tell me no, on the evidence, and be right.

Building it was never the hard part. Agreeing to listen was.
