Refund Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This Refund Policy covers paid Orbyt Jobs and Orbyt Intelligence subscriptions. It is part of our Terms of Service. By subscribing to any Orbyt product, you agree to the policy in effect on the day you subscribe.
How to evaluate before you pay
Orbyt Jobs has a free tier that gives you indefinite access to core functionality, so you can evaluate it before committing to a paid plan. Orbyt Intelligence has a free tier too: 1,000 requests a month, which requires an API key but no card. Neither product offers a free trial, because neither needs one. Both let you confirm the product is a fit before you pay.
Cancel anytime
You may cancel a paid subscription at any time from the dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep access to the paid tier until that date, and you will not be charged again.
Subscription charges are non-refundable
All subscription charges are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by law. This includes consumed AI usage and API calls, which are non-refundable once used. It applies to both monthly and annual plans, on the first charge and on every renewal. Because you keep full access to the paid tier for the period you paid for, we do not issue partial or prorated refunds for unused time when you cancel.
We take this position because delivering the product incurs real, upfront cost the moment you use it. AI, compute, data, and hosting are paid out as you work, not at the end of a cycle. This is the same usage-based, non-refundable model used by the AI platforms Orbyt is built on.
Changing plans is not a refund and is handled separately. Switching between tiers, or between monthly and annual billing, is prorated automatically, so a plan change only bills the difference for the time remaining in your current period. The prorated amount is shown before you confirm the change.
API usage is non-refundable
API calls are non-refundable once consumed. This applies to both Orbyt Jobs and Orbyt IntelligenceAPIs, including MCP tool calls and any other metered API usage. It covers requests counted against a plan's included quota, on-demand overage charges, and prepaid credit packages. Once a request reaches our servers and a response is generated, the underlying compute, data, and infrastructure cost has been incurred and cannot be reversed.
Unused quota does not roll over and is not refundable in cash or credit. Metered usage is billed and settled per request, independent of your subscription status.
Exception: if API responses were materially defective due to a confirmed Orbyt-side incident (extended outage, corrupted data, or a regression we acknowledge), contact support@orbytjobs.ai within 14 days of the incident and we will credit the affected calls back to your account.
Chargebacks and disputes
If a charge on your card looks unfamiliar, please contact us first. Charges appear on your statement as ORBYT plus a product descriptor such as INTEL PRO or INTEL SCALE. We keep an audit trail of every subscription event, payment, and acceptance of our Terms, including the exact date, time, IP address, and version of the Terms you agreed to. This record is used as evidence if a dispute is filed with your card issuer.
Unauthorized or fraudulent charges
If you believe your card was charged without your consent, contact support@orbytjobs.ai immediately. We will investigate, suspend the relevant subscription, and issue a refund where appropriate.
How to reach us about a charge
Email support@orbytjobs.ai from the email address on your Orbyt account. Include the last four digits of the card charged, the date of the charge, and the reason for the request. We usually respond within one business day.
This policy does not override any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
