Free ($0, 60 req/min, 1,000 requests a month): AI Role Taxonomy, the calculate and search endpoints, and the published BLS wage benchmark that travels beside every estimate. An API key is required, because the monthly limit is counted per user and an anonymous request cannot be. A card is not.
Pro ($99/mo or $990/yr, 300 req/min, 250,000 requests a month): Everything in Free plus the MCP server, the lineage provenance endpoint, restricted API keys with per-engine scopes, and priority support.
Ultra ($199/mo or $1,999/yr, 1,500 req/min, 500,000 requests a month): Everything in Pro plus the company leveling catalog, the annual compensation reports, dedicated support, and custom data requests.
Paying yearly saves 15% or more. There is no free trial. The free tier is how you evaluate Intelligence, with no card and no clock, so paid subscriptions bill immediately when you start them. Canceling drops you to the free tier rather than cutting off your keys.
